Reese is the self -proclaimed leader of the organisation, supposedly knowing something that the others do not, and so having leverage over them and a sense of mutually agreed superiority. He leaves them in the dark and refuses to explain himself, organising his thoughts in a mess of paper cutouts and scissors in his study, or as it is called, the control room. He is clearly not being honest with the others, and has a more nefarious, dark reason behind his plans which he refuses to disclosse. one thing that is certain, however, is that to him, the others are merely pawns for him to do with as he pleases. He is immune to character development and incapable of change, he is a constant immovable force that contributes to something much bigger than anything the others are aware of. He is incurably obsessed with the idea of action and consequence, he sees the world as a network of connected events which are attatched can can never be broken, the past, present and future become one ievitable flowing river which he understands shapes reality, and so he uses this knowledge to predict the future, allegedy, and he listens to what this river tells him, and acts accordingly. although aslo ebing controlled by a higher force, his friends will never need to know this, nr culd they ever comprehend the extent of his knowedge anyway, best they are kept outside the loop, or rather, inside of it.
Outright psychopathic. Other people are merely tools he uses to get what he wants out of. Sure, he pretends to care about you, but his head is going hmmm how can i steer this towards something that interests me/ how can i use this to my personal advantage? Emotionally aware, and understanding of other people’s feelings,but chooses to see it as a means of getting what he wants. He is an expert at manipulation and his care for others is so blatantly surface-level, but his endearing and quirky personality tends to charm people enough to excuse this. He’s so focused on his goals and ideas that he can convince other people to be as well. Even its so far from reality He’s so excitable and determined because he’s got such a firm grip on his direction through life. He’s a planner, and a good one. He can fool anyone into blindly following him into the low sinking depths of human depravity and insanity. Actually very flawed and immature, he has a superior sense of tunnel vision, he doesn’t think about anything that might potentially ruin his chances of getting from point A to B. He just refuses to even consider that something might not work out the way he wants it to. Not really out of narcissism, but just a really bad hero complex and a severe detachment from reality. Bro watches too much TV, clearly. Like a six year old yapping about how they're gonna be a cowboy when they grow up. Nod your head and smile but theres no way that shit is happening. Authoritarian, dictator-like grip on other people, he is not a team player, although he disguises himself as one. He sees himself as a leader and won’t listen to anyone else. Even if he did, he’d never admit it, and would twist the thoug process into telling himself that he came up with the idea himself, and then it’s okay to follow through. He won’t stoop down to the level of others, although sometimes they suggest things he wouldnt think of. This hurts his ego, hence why he must take credit for the thought in order to progress. It is downright DISTURBING to see him get angry, the high level of composure and free-spirit he wears like a mask does not slip very often, but he is so tightly contained with rage and hatred that when this mask slips he becomes unrecognisable. He mostly attacks you with words, but my god do they hurt. Its the drastic shift in behavior that scares people into submission. He is so so smart. He has such a wide variety of skills and accomplishments it’s almost impossible. He knows so much about so many things and he has a lot of advice to hand down to the less fortunate. Even if this advice is tainted by his beliefs and not so subtle attempts at psychological/ emotional manipulation. . He’s nice to have around because he’s so.. Stable and certain. Ask him something and he’ll be able to help you. Like a magic 8 ball. He is full of wisdom. He’s fair. He’s a cruel, bloodthirsty and basky-intentioned leader but a damn good one. He can organise, he can fix things, he's a problem solver. He’s a reasonable man!
