Something of an urban legend within the base the group operates from. Having distanced himself from Reese and the others, he inhabits the ground floor of the north wing, accessible via flimsy skywalk. A medical student and therefore the group’s only access to any kind of healthcare needs and damage control, he has a lot to leverage over the others. Unfortunately he is extremely fragile and mentally unstable, with a backwards moral direction and a terrible memory. He causes more trouble than he’s worth, and has a shocking record of unpredictable violent outbursts and depressive episodes. He picks no side but his own and sees everyone else as hostile, even his closest and most valued friends.
Clearly struggles with social skills, has a permanent, fundamental disconnect from others and can’t understand people very well. Everyone knows this, but the full extent of it can be truly shocking. He is so outright and blunt about what he’s thinking or feeling it can often feel like a slap in the face. He just doesn’t care about something unless it affects him directly, and he will not hide this from you. He’s difficult in many respects. He avoids uncomfortable situations, he doesn't confront issues or disagreements, he doesn’t talk to people. He’s hard to persuade to do something and he clearly needs a lot of help/support yet does not want it and will not ask for it.
Friendship means nothing to him. Love means nothing to him. Hatred means nothing to him. He treats people the way he wants to at a particular moment and doesn’t favour you or single you out based on experiences with you. He is so painfully indifferent towards other people its actually impossible for him to form any kind of opinion of you. He forgets easily and he upsets good people easily, but in his mind it’s nothing personal. He’s impossible to have any kind of relationship with, because ..well? Does he even recognise that you’re a human being? Does he see you as something, anything at all?
