physical appearance
Born in communist lithuania. allegedy he doesnt speak the language anymore, and seems to manage German just fine like the rest of his friends. Physically speaking, Kinda small, takes up little space., around 5’7/8. He has choppy blonde hair that falls in front of his eyes and hangs down the back of his neck, it’s just overgrown tbh. needs a haircut. he has a bright, warm complexion and deep blue eyes, which are slightly upturned- like he’s always smiling. His face is very 'conventionally pretty'- symmetrical and evenly balanced, he looks like a porcelain doll or a little baby deer. His smile is crooked but genuine. His eyes are dark. You could fall into them and drown.
Danny puts little effort into his appearance and has a sort of oddly dishevelled look,but still makes him look serious. His clothes aren’t fixed, but he cares very little about his appearance besides wanting to give the impression that he shouldn’t be messed with. He never wears jackets or coats, he’s always comically underdressed for the harsh northern weather. He wears big wide legged trousers with lots of pockets or old washed out jeans, (most of his clothes are second hand or things he’s had for years. He tends to dress like a construction worker or a broke student- his clothed are dirty and worn, stylish if looked at a certain way i suppose- he lawsys looks soooo unbothered, borderline lazy in what he wears. I think he owns 2 pairs of trousers). Usually wears white or light colours (in contrast to the other characters, who wear more dark colours). Sometimes he wears wristbands or other accessories on his arms. Odd things he’s picked up in various places- concerts etc. Danny also has a fondness for militaria (particularly soviet) - he sometimes wears camouflage/ old military jackets, army hats (his soviet winter hat for instance) or belts with loops for holding guns/knives etc etc. his most worn item of clothing is a white shirt with the words “ARMAGEDDON” in bold black letters. This is important, remember this for later.

Danny is superrr messy lets discuss,,,.,., Younger than the other characters and certainly acts like it, he has the demeanor of a hyperactive ten year old. However behind his behavior is also a level of age regression as a result of stunted maturity and a lack of positive role models. A lot of Danny's memories and past experiences have been shoved into the back of his mind and so there are large portions of his life he cannot bring to memory, resulting in something of a lack of knowledge and experience, alsmot like amnesia. He can be immature and childish, sometimes infuriatingly so, he’s unreasonable, petty, jumps to wild conclusions, He forgives easily and is such a pushover. This sort of behavior can be difficult for the others to co-exist with, he can be jarring and irritating because he just doesn’t exist on the same wavelength, and he’s so oblivious to many things, and has this painfully upbeat, silly personality that, like a cockroach, cannot be crushed. Over time Danny does gain a certain level of maturity yet still is never quite able to shake this mindset. He thinks the entire world is against him and for this it must suffer. He becomes more sadistic and resentful than an actually rounded human being who recognises his own mistakes. He instead now blames his problems on the world and other people, and seeks to destroy whatever that means, as a punishment. It’s catharsis. He can’t be reasoned with because he lacks the maturity and emotional intelligence to admit his own incompetence and flaws. Instead, the blame mjst be pushed onto something else.
Danny is noticeably kind and accommodating towards others, he makes continuous efforts to connect with other people and puts others’ needs before his own. He is generally well-liked by those around him because of his good nature and kind heart. His morality is something to note, he has a very strong sense of right and wrong, he believes in justice and fairness and he wants everyone to be happy and get along without conflict. He does whatever he can to de-escalate situations and has a natural gift for diplomacy and conflict resolution. However, because of his strong sense of morality it makes it hard to excuse actions he takes- he knows fully well that an action may be wrong or cause harm, but will choose to do it anyway. Danny’s freedom of choice may just be his downfall, as a strong moral code does not dictate the goodness of the character.
